Michael and Kirsty Gladkoff, principal consultants at Word Nerds, have extensive experience in publishing, marketing, advertising and public relations.
Michael Gladkoff
Michael began his professional writing career in mid-1980s and has worked in the marketing, public relations and publishing fields for over 25 years. He has written and edited a broad range of articles, publications, and marketing and PR pieces for organisations in Australia and the United States.
He has a BA in Economics from the University of California, an MBA from Alaska Pacific University and Advanced Communicator Gold award from Toastmasters International.
Prior to establishing Word Nerds Writing and Editing in 2004, Michael worked in publishing for Reed Business Information and Thomson Legal and Regulatory. Michael is a member of The Public Relations Institute of Australia, The Society of Editors (Victoria) and Toastmasters International. As a public speaker, Michael has won numerous awards for his inspirational and humorous speeches as a member of Dandenong Ranges Toastmasters.
As an experienced journalist, Michael has written hundreds of articles on numerous topics.
Kirsty Gladkoff
Kirsty has extensive marketing experience and has worked with universities in Australia and the United States. She has developed and implemented marketing plans, created advertising campaigns and coordinated production of marketing materials — from developing initial ideas through pre-production, editing and production. Kirsty has a BA in International Studies from Macalester College in Minnesota, an MBA from Alaska Pacific University and is studying Professional Writing and Editing at Box Hill Institute in Melbourne.
